Hairspray - the 1988 John Waters' original version w/ Divine as Edna Turnblad - also starring Rikki Lake, Sonny Bono, Debbie Harry - who the F*CK ever said that Travolta ( i love him in Grease and SNF) could do drag? - guh! i have friends that were extras in the 1988 film - yours truly did not want to be an extra in said film b/c she thought her shitty summer job at the ice cream parlor was a better decision before she started her freshman year of college - not!!!

OMG - i went with a friend to see Divine play in a small club in DC before he passed away (!!) and he was in full drag and strutting around the stage and cranky as all hell and singing to taped music- i need to find the photo my buddy took and post - jesus where is that thing???

famous? ha! although one of the extras to which i refer is an actor/director in Hell-A so i guess it helped his career :P
