Thought you would like to know, maybe you were in a hurry or very sleepy, but in the sentence: just letting ya no im alive. Y ou would use the non-answering know(meaning knowledge) and not the answering a question no. Don't mean to be be a testicle bastard(ahem!) technical bastard.
