Oh the Horror (but not really)
So the other day I got the opportunity to shoot for the Ateneo Blue Repertory, specifically for their latest production, Little Shop of Horrors! I've always heard/known the title "Little Shop of Horrors", but I never knew what it was about. (Also, there is "Pet Shop of Horrors", but that's actually an anime/manga. Dunno if it follows a similar story though.)
Here's the entire cast! From left: Mela, Abi, Roxci, Cassie, Maronne, Luis, Dar, Tina and Gelo. White ghost is Tina, and I'd LOVE for you to see what she looks like (really, you NEED to see her!), but it'll be a secret for now. You'll find out if you go watch their show/s in July, heh.
Diyosa ng ferosh Gabi Perez makes an appearance because the kids wanted to have a Rock and Rule group shot.
Stage manager Angela and art director RJ appear with the Freakshow kids! (Totes wanted to see that, le sigh.)
I'd show you more but that's all up to the team. I'm stoked to see how all the tarps and posters and other promotional materials turn out! So far there's just this album featuring the cast, so it's best if you go on ahead and like Blue Rep on Facebook, as well as follow them on Twitter!

After we wrapped up with the shoot, we went to the music room for choreography rehearsals. I only got to tag along because I was asked to document the rehearsals, haha! It's crazy how these people still had the stamina to go sing and dance after a long day. I mean, I was already tired from shooting, but they were still obliged to attend rehearsals. Oh such beautiful devotion.
We were greeted by this pretty tree outside the window. I will call it the Tree of Fire.
Hello guess who.
Then a little gremlin appeared, so I just had to take pictures of him.
Basking in the presence of such talented people was beyond cool. The shoot was heaps load of fun too (I had to stand on a bench to get the desired angle, but then again I'm also short and there are people like Dar whose height likes to mock my existence LOLJK) aaaaand it was really great meeting (and re-meeting) everybody! Thanks so much, Blue Rep, for the wonderful opportunity! I do hope we get to work again because doing so has been such an honor. Really, truly!
