So, just stay here! Seriously. Why couldn't you just tell Mike that you would like to stay here...that you would like as many hours here as you would get up north.
And if he tells you that you can't...tell him that you'll quit. If he tells you - fine - then you really shouldn't be working there anyway. You put in tons for him, and if he could just let you go like that, then you need to go anyway.
But my gut is telling me that you ARE way more important than that. And that he wouldn't want to just lose you like that.
there arent as many hours down here to give as there are up there. plus i get paid more up north so that kind of helps too.
i know im more important but they honestly just dont have the hours down here like they do up there...they arent open as long and id only get half shifts...
i know he wont want to lose me...im thinking im just not gonna stay the entire summer...like come back earlier in august or something. im not sure yet
things are starting to set in more and im just preparing now. the good thing...if i really have that big of a problem up there...i can come back down no questions asked...
im gonna try to get back down more during the summer if my schedule allows it.
