hey! maybe you'd know this: how do you get the little numbers for the footnotes? i can't figure it out. (p.s. i have Appleworks, not Word.)

I've never used appleworks, i have word.... and i just go to insert and then to reference and then to footnote? Sorry!

hey that's okay. i figured out how to do it. i'm just not sure i fully grasped the point of footnotes. do they reference your bibliography, or what?
