Since the baby may come any time, and I will not be able to post this before the Oscar nominations on January 10th (I may actually be awake when the announcement happens for once), I decided to do it ahead of time. Again, this is what I think will get nominated, not what I think should get nominated (because I would have The Avengers in for Best

Best Picture - I got 8 of the 9, and the first 8 I guessed were nominated, just Amour was the surprise there.
Director - Only 3 of 5, Amour and Beasts were out of left field. Biggest snubs for me were Bigelow and Affleck
Actor - 4 of 5, with Jackman and Hawkes switching
Actress - 4 of 5, with Watts and Cotillard switching
Sup Actor - 3 of 5, with De Niro and Waltz instead of Bardem and DiCaprio
Sup Actress - 3 of 5, with Adams and Weaver instead of Smith and Dowd
Animated - 4 of 5, with Pirates! instead of Rise. Yay Aardman!
Original Screenplay - 4 of 5, with Amour instead of The Master
Adapted Screnplay - 4 of 5, with Beasts of Southern Wild instead of Perks.

Overall, I got 37 of 49 (75.5%). Not bad, but not great, granted, there were a couple of noms that surprised the hell out of most people.
