So lately i was feeling kind of sad because we didn't have any christmas decorations up yet.

Anyway so today i FINALLY pulled the doorknob decorations out of the box
and then we got new stockings AND the like most perfect christmas tree ever!!

I'm feeling much better now...

We got our tree Sunday the 11th, and just put the lights on yesterday!!! I'm hoping we'll get to the ornaments sometime before Christmas!

i got my second Yule tree ever (the first was when i was about your age, it was a gift from my teachers) this year, my new girlfriend and i bought it together. it's a fake tree, and because we're both incredibly poor, we made most of the ornaments with clothespins, pipe cleaners, beads, glitter glue, paint, ribbon, bells, and paper. it looks GORGEOUS. i'm so happy with it. the pipe cleaner ornaments probably won't last, but i expect the clothespin ornaments will become a tradition. i wish you guys could come see it. i'm glad you got yours. :)
