My son, not that long ago, answered a question I asked with brilliance and I asked him how did he know that and he responded, "Because I am a smart ass."
DOH!!!!
I quickly told him that he was smart, not a smart ass. lol

Oddly enough and rather ironically, my first word was indeed SHIT...
mom loved telling that story.

Shit is a very common word for kids to say :-) It must be pretty easy annunciation wise.
