En route to Bristol from Bowling Green my sister and i have stopped at the Golden Roast in the city with what i hope is the absolute worst traffic in Tennessee. You'd never think, looking out the window at tranquil UTenn (i know they don't call it that) campus, that two blocks away it's nigh impossible to make a left turn if you don't anticipate it three traffic lights in advance. Well, i wouldn't, anyway, until now.

I'm starting to grow fond of the uncertain, questioning, to-be-concluded state of mind that in description is much like the state that would make Megan's head explode after not too long. We are certainly very different people, and i still wonder how and why we (in particular Mishca) kept us together for so long. At least she had the wisdom to get out of a bad situation. I don't think i do even now. How does one give up with someone they might just love?

I sympathize far too much with everyone rationally but don't act accordingly when the chance is there. Maybe i should try to strike a balance somewhere. But do i become a genuine nice guy or an honest jerk?

The single-shot soy mocha rests in the rotation about the z-axis of a hyperbola a r2 - b z2 = 1, a novel shape which unfortunately does not admit the standard sloshing method for re-chocolatifying the less dense espresso and milk, so Nicole's cream cheese knife comes in handy.

In the next hour and a half i hope to finish a proof that determinantal (in contrast to [KLMW]'s plücker) shuffles on admissible row subsets vanish on the variety X(w) (having last night defined admissibility for less-than-full-rank row subsets) and - the difficult part - draft my first combinatorics seminar from the basic outline Shimozono prescribed so i can show or fax it to him tomorrow. The first part should take me no more than a half-hour. "Should" applies far too many places that "does" fails.

Jazz is nice when you're trying to focus. And the great thing about online journals is that no one's being forced to care. ^_^
