so i just did the worst job i've ever done on anything. yep chem is kicking my ass in the biggest way possible...seriosuly i've never seen a test that blank after an hour and a half...its almost funny. and its really upsetting when you call your mom to talk with her about the shity day you had and she starts bringing up things about how you need to ( Read more... )

omg i COMPLETELY agree. and then once you finally get out of college and grad school, what do you do? work the rest of your life? WHY? you spend your entire childhood working to get to be an adult, where you work to be able to work, and then you work until you die. WHY??? WHATS THE POINT? if someone can figure it out and let me know, that would be GREAT, because then maybe i would feel motivated to work. then maybe i would feel like my life hasn't been a waste, like my future won't be wasted as well. i honestly don't know what i'm doing here, or ever. when i'm not happy, is that not just a waste of my precious, short life?? why not only take the classes that interest you? why not only do the things that are fun? why bother studying and wasting time? i hate the system and i hate that you do too, because that means that you're not happy and i want you to be happy.

It is more difficult to find work with only a BA in Psych, but serious students don't even question whether or not they're going to grad school for that masters or PhD. I certainly don't. And besides which, there are plenty of opportunities with that BA. You are right, it is society which degrades. The biggest problem I find with Psych and society is the association with Freud, whose ideas were out there, yes, but considering his miniscule sample of repressed Victorian women it was accurate. Anyhow, Psych is great. :)
