Val, those are great news!!! I'm really happy for both your dad and your friend. You have no idea how wonderful is reading this today. Someone from one of my aunt's family is fighting against cancer and we learnt earlier today that things are way worse than we thought. So, after all you guys went through with your dad and then with your friend, I couldn't be happier to hear such good news. *big hug
( ... )
I am so sorry about your aunt's family member. It always sucks when the prognosis for cancer turns for the worst. My thoughts are with you and your family, bb. But I am glad my good news was able to make you happy. I mean, we really needed some good news so I'm just happy that those two things came one after the other. It makes this year not so horrible.
LOL! I am actually doing good so far. And my sister informed me that we're not completely cutting back on meat. She's just going to lessen the amount of meat she's going to buy. We've also decided to lessen our sugar intake too. I haven't eaten chocolate for nearly a week now and I am okay so far. I will need all the cheering I can get so thank you!!!
I hope the cold has arrived in your neck of the woods so that you can wear your boots again! :)
I am so excited for you to watch those babies! They really are ADORABLE!!! Whenever I watch them, I want to reach into the screen and just smish them!!!!
Have you been watching any new K-dramas, or just variety? Now that my DVR is cleared out and I'm caught up on my shows, I'm going to get back in to Asian dramas.
My best advice about food is to not cut out but slowly cut back and just be smart about what you eat and do. By simply cutting it out, you're more likely to relapse and binge. Also, don't ever be embarrassed about donuts, because... they're donuts!.
I actually haven't been watching a lot of variety shows. Only Return of Superman. I have watched a lot of good K-dramas this year. When you decide to watch, I would suggest you try out My Love From Another Star, Three Days and Fated to Love You. Those have been my favorites so far.
My sister told me that we're not really going to cut meat out of our diet. She went shopping this week and she still bought a little bit of pork and beef. So I guess that would help us to not relapse and binge. LOL! I guess its been a while since we've eaten some Dunkin Donuts so we went a little crazy with our order. It took us nearly four days to finish it off. It will be a while when we go back though. :)
Be careful with the diet change. Cutting down on certain foods is great, but meat is still really good for you. There are many many diets catered towards conditions and allergies and the like. You could even just change how it's prepared, but avoiding driving out of your way just for donuts is something that can be saved as a once-in-a-while treat. uwu
I've not watched Return of Superman, yet, but I have seen clips and gifs, and those babies are so precious! I love the concept of the show; I just know I'll have to pause repeatedly just to get a handle on myself.
Thanks! I'm just glad he's having an easier time dealing with his COPD.
Yeah, we are trying to be smart about the diet change. My sister still bought some meat but not as much as she used to. I think I should ask my aunt, who is a nutritionist, to make a menu for us so we don't do something stupid. And yes, the donut run will not be a weekly occurrence, lol!
OMG! You should definitely give Return of Superman a try. Not only are the babies cute but you can see how the dads become good at taking care of them. Also, Haru's (Tablo's daughter) crush on G-Dragon is adorable. And the arrival of the triplets has made me love the show even more. I've found myself watching the episodes more than once. :)
