Surgery end of month, trying not to freak out over it.
I'm not afraid of dying (so I say), but I have wayyy too much unfinished for it to happen right now, but it's a good kick in the pants.
Watched the film the other day, and it's actually 'ok'/slightly below- but not horrible beyond belief. So, I don't feel nearly as bad about the film as if I sent it last year in its previous incarnation.
Had a rather upsetting encounter with health insurance agent today: I've been blacklisted, in a nutshell. I'm now considered 'HIGH RISK' and only ONE possible carrier may give me insurance via the government. Here's the kicker; price tag: $561 per month!
The contracting/teaching stuff is hand to mouth. I've talked about going for a post office or city job wherein it's a comfy 9-5 and benefits, now I really have to get my butt in gear over that.
Normally things wouldn't phase me so much, but having the liver thing, the vision thing, and now the health insurance thing attack seemingly all at once... it's pretty damn annoying.
2007 was supposed to be the GOOD year. Hrm.....
