On myspace I used to "browse" people living in Duluth and if I liked their profile I would write them comments about what I liked about them. I made one internet friend, most people did not respond, girls often inquired, "Are you gay?" I stopped though because I wasn't sure if I was repeat messaging people and I'm openly a weirdo but I'm only a stalker in secret. Also, people are way too sexually minded. Women make lovely friends for other women. Why does messaging a girl on the internet automatically implicate my sexuality? We need more romance in our hearts. Friendships are masterful love affairs.

I agree. I don't know why people always jump to that conclusion, sometimes I feel like saying "Actually, I don't find you all that sexually desirable, if you must know" but that seems kind of rude.

I, for one, NEVER jump to that conclusion and others around me will say "that guy wanted you so bad" after conversing with a random fellow, and I'm usually like, "Huuuuh???"

I wouldn't assume you were a lesbian, and even if you were, I would love you just the same.
