so, after around a two-week delay, i finally got my hands on the much-awaited dvd release of Casino Royale. and i have to say, the packaging is excellent. i would've been happy with a 2-disc edition with a slipcase, but to have the slipcase embossed with a metallic sheen to it really adds some extra value to the dvd. not to mention the awesome ( Read more... )

finished Terry Pratchett's The Wee Free Men last saturday. awesomely fun read. deceptively simple and humorous, as always. if only kids would get to reading this kind of stuff. not that i can speak for the harry potter books, but surely they're not the only good books out there, hmm?
