aww amanda i heart you! yiu are such a sweetie and it bums me out to see you all sad...i kinda know about the whole dad thing..my parents never married...he didnt wanna have anythign to do with us until i was about 8 and finally met him...only i wish i hadnt..he never calls and when i call him we talk for like 5 mins and i catch him up on some of the small things...and the worst part...we just found out that my step mom doesnt tell him when we call sometimes...and when i do talk he never seems interested...its like hes too busy to care...sorry...i just went on a random tanget...but i kinda understand...but i hope everything works out for the best in the end and keep smiling and be optimistic and dont forget that you have jared...hope your summer gets better--jenna

hey girl, sorry so much shit is going on!! i can feel for you in the divorce category... and im sure we share a lot of same feelings about our fathers! just know that im here for you and your not alone. so if you ever need to talk to someone who understands! thats me...i wish you the best of luck and know that you will pull through just fine....i dont know if this helps but im starting to work through all the feelings i have for my dad and yeah it has taken me about a year but me and my dad are becoming closer... whenever they dont have the stress of their "significant other" it amazing how much more time they want with you and also how you have all the power which is nice for a teen... you control everything about your relationship with him! so alwayz know that you have the power! (made me feel better) i love ya hun and we must hang out this summer and do stuff.. it was sooo great talking at the express game. ok i think ive made this comment long enough talk to ya later

Amanda, I want you and your family to know that my mom, me, and the rest of my family is here for you if you ever need someone to talk to. I hate to see you like this, and I know it is very difficult for you. I will try to help you get through it as best as I can. I care about you greatly, and I don't want to see you let this ruin YOUR life. So don't. I know you care about them, but at the same time you can't stand them, it isn't your fault they turned out the way they did. You have attempted to make your life with them and their life better. Since they can't pick up on what you are trying to do for them and help them, then there isn't anything more you can do. We all know you've tried. If that's all you can do, it's your best effort. I hope your mom and you are going to get through this as quickly and easily as possible.. I know it's hard, but I know you will get through all of it. I hope this next 3 days helps clear your mind, just for a little while. I'll always be right next to you, as your best friend and sister!! I

Hey Amanda. I know what you mean about dad's. My dad has never been around for anything at all. He was always at work. And when he came home, he made our lives a living hell. Recently, he got fired from work and now he's always making things hell. He's selfish and doesn't care about what anyone else wants or feels. My mom has been wanting to leave him for years, but it waiting until my sister and I get out of high school. They fight all of the time... I know about bad dad's. I would give ANYTHING to have one that cared at all.
