I saw that Only Fools episode. It was rather sad. I agree when you say that the getting there is the fun part, the expectancy. Like how you feel before a party.

I have something similar to what you've said. (I know that didn't make sense but I'm tired you see.) Because I'm not very happy in other aspects of my life the things that keeps me happy is owning things. I am very materialistic. I find something I want, get excited waiting for it and then when I own it I enjoy it but have to find something else to keep me happy again. Once you have something, after a while, you find it was more fun waiting for that thing to arrive.

Off the point, if that's the only thing in a tv show that has effected you, you should watch Blackadder Goes Forth. Set in WW1

i prefer living in the now, caus ewho knows what will happen later, as the people say "the best laid plans go to pot" i dunno where i got that but i did.
the past is no place to live and the future hasn't happened, all you can do is live in the now and hope for the best.

how deep is this for gone midnight, just after i've been to the pub, by the by, hi i'm sam:)
