Actually, further poking revealed Google has an awesome patent search machine. (Google is of course "teh aw3s0m3.")

If you click on the above link, you'll see a PDF of the original patent, some nifty diagrams, and scrolling down the page, you'll see other patents that build on this one including a "snow gun" and an "adjustable snow making tower" which sound more interesting when put together, don't they?

I don't know -- I now feel a compulsion to read this book and find out exactly how the snow-making machine "accident" goes down.
