I'm definately gonna have to agree with you on all those points. My parents still treat me like i'm 12, and lots of people i know are transferring somewhere else. It's great that safety and security doesn't even know how to spell Millikin. As an added bonus, they got rid of most of the french department so that we could pick up a chinese program. Yes, this makes perfect sense in my mind.

Things will be fine. =) Don't worry about your parents too much. They just want what's best for you. It really is just because they care. Anyway, I'm sure it was hard on them with both you and Matt leaving at the same time. I know my mom has a little trouble still too. I talk to her almost every day still. Just show them that you still care and that you're ok and maybe they'll let up a bit. And if not, just enjoy the freedom while you're at school.

Hope things go great this semester for you. =)

thanks, yeah, i try to tell them that i am ok and other things as well, but sometimes they dont hear me, they think they know me better than i know myself, i think that is one of the main problems. i do just sit back and enjoy my freedom when i have it though, lol.=)
