Last night I received a call from Victor with the words “Some cholos just broke into the apartment and beat us up.”  I thought he was joking, but then I got a “We’re on our way to the hospital.”

So, to the hospital I ran where my friend was being treated for a big gash on his head and Victor’s face was punched in.
