Hell, no I haven't read this again. PLease! New "Must-Do-NOW" project for work was emailed to me last night... and is of course due RIGHT NOW. I'll be lucky if I can get my NCIS story done for Sunday.

But I just wanted to comment:
WOOT! I created... or rather, spawned the creation of, a new category! :) Cheerleading in Fic! Hee Hee.

Yes, thank you.

You just wanted to comment so you could make your partner in crime jealous. I know your motivations. ;)

No because this doesn't count as a comment to the story since it isn't about the story... so whoever posts/posted after me is really the 1st commentor.

Yeah, well...I was too slow this time. (which does not hinder me from glaring at you and screaming murder) But by answering to your comment I at least managed to squish in front of Kate. Hehehe.

Your children stories are my favorites, without a doubt. You really got a knack for those, see especially Summer Camp.*remembers fondly*
Other than that...this must have been the most successful conversation between Victor and Martin ever happened. Martin's mother seems now to be the biggest bitch-obstacle left. She and Katie, Korey, Kathleen.

Superb. :)

the man of a thousand faces, all of them blank

This still just totally and completely cracks me up.

Maybe they, too, sense the earth trembling in advance of a major quake and have decided that he's some sort of cosmic door-frame

And I can't even describe the effect that sentence has on me. It's just GUH! Just the idea that children see him as a protector... Guh!

*happysigh* I love this one!

:D It just seemed like the best description of Victor, especially from Martin's point of view.

Well, either a protector, or they've figured out that if he's there everyone will be so busy being mad at him that they'll get away scot-free. ;) Children can be pretty smart that way.

grounded!

This is a great update and the twins are wonderful. It's interesting seeing how Lisa and Martin's relationship has changed and deepended while at the same time there's a growing divide.

Looking forward to the next installment!

Thank you. It just seemed like something a little more up-beat was in order, and the chaos of dinner seemed to write itself. And I can't imagine anything between Lisa and Martin being simple. One of them would have to complicate the hell out of things, just because. :)
