Hemingway SUCKS!!!

Does anyone else agree with me on this? Okay, so we had to read this book in English and write 4 reading response pages on if we were the people giving him awards what would we have thought of the book and this is how I began mine, tell me if you agree or disagree

I agree. Hemmingway, in a word sucks. If you liked that piece of trash you should read the short story Elephant Clouds...or something like that. It's about two people, a man and a woman, waiting for a train and discussing something. All the words are conversation, and Hemmingway writes it as the reader being a third party listening, so we have no idea what the central basis of the convo is about. Later I found out it was the couple discussing having an abortion...it toally threw me off and drove me away from Hemmingway forever.
