But the comedian is kinda funny, you have to admit. Though he's wayyy besides the point on that metaphore discussion in the end. And he has that arrogance about him that kind of grates on my nerves... arghhh

I FULLY admit that he is funny, he totally cracked me up with his lyric-bashing. And the metaphor-simile thing may be beside the point, but it still gave me a stitch from laughing too hard. ;3

Personally I didn't like the comedian not because he was bashing Alanis -Ironic has gotten more than it's share of bashing because, sadly, they're right. It's not Ironic- but because he said what everyone else has already said. With the exception of metaphor=simile, all the other stuff was said within a week of the song release, and he missed some.

Other than that *hugs* :D

Oh, he wasn't saying anything new, but he had style, he had flair, he was there... that's not how he became the Nanny, alas. XD It made me laugh.

See what you've done? Now I want to write a story where a slash version of the Nanny, where a guy from Queens is the one who works for a rich, closeted Broadway Producer while the Producer's partner and the female butler have a lesbian affair.
