Do you think that a degree in psychology/psychiatry is mandatory for cops because it sure would be helpful for what they go through on a day to day basis? Ty did a good job of this. *grins* Wouldn't be a bad idea for cops' life partners to have those degrees too, as part of their pre-marital counselling. I liked this and yes the heat does affect a person like that as you so wonderfully described it at the beginning. That was a little too real for; June, July, August, September and maybe October; where I live.
I think it would be amazing if cops were all psychologists with handcuffs! I think it's probably such a huge part of what they do already that most of them could be considered qualified as it is. I'm always really impressed when watching cop docs at the ones who really seem to want to understand/already know who's doing what and why. Ty did good, bless him, although I don't think that this is the usual kind of 'cop psychology' that he's used to practicing! Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm so glad you liked it. And I'm perversely glad that the description of heat rings true. This is coming from an English woman who can't stand heat and on the few days that we get it over here in the summer I just fail to cope. Take me back to December!
