One love is not the be all, end all.  Unrequited love easily turns into obsession, and all that entails.  Let it go, let it go, let it go!  Perhaps this lesson needs to come purely through your own experience, but somehow it will be learned.  And you'll pull through, and you'll realize what was rooted in genuine affection and what was not.
