I am not sure when the previous entry was written, I have been finding it harder and harder to find the time to get on and post. So many times I have intentions of writing, than I save it and say I'll post it later and never do...so I finally posted one of them. ;) Onto the here and now ( Read more... )

My son, Eric, is doing a lot better this year than he did in middle school. Thank you, God! :-D

Don't worry. The joys of parenting young children will give way to the joys of parenting teens, then the joys of being proud of your adult children when they move out on their own! :-P

I'm hoping we'll get to go out and look at Christmas lights soon. Down in the city there's an area where there are a lot of older homes and some of the streets have lots of lights. :-)

I am so sorry...it has been hard for me to get on here! Nothing like posting a comment a month later, huh? LOL

Hope your Christmas was wonderful :)

So Eric is in HS, right? This is his first year? That's good to hear that he is doing better...MS is going to be scary for me the first time around. LOL The things I have heard come out of the elem. school kids is crazy!

It's all a beautiful cycle, this parenting thing...

Love your userpic ;)

That's okay. I understand. :-)

We did! :-D Hope your's was good too. :-D

Yeah, he's a freshman. I started him in kindergarten a year late, so he's a year behind, which I think is why he's doing well. Middle school, from what I hear, is the worst. I would have thought high school would be. But kids in middle school are a lot meaner. There are a lot of bullies. Eric was one of those kids that other kids would try to bully, but shortly afterward realize that he wasn't going to back down...and he would fight back. He'd defend other kids, too, which got him into trouble sometimes. I was proud of him sometimes for helping his friends, even though I don't like the fighting.

Yeah, a beautiful cycle. :-)

Thanks! :-D
