Well, the real world should be approaching within a year... Now I have to find a job... I would like to work at a Christian Libral Arts College, but the pickings are slim (Thanks to Houghton hiring an organic prof. for this year). Here is what I have found

I visited Azusa Pacific in May (i'm considering a few of their programs) and can give two cents about the environment:

It is a nice, small campus, much more contained than many, and is right in the center of a suburban area (i.e., four lane roads with Arby's and a drive-in theater and CVS, etc. all around it). The parts of campus that I toured were in GREAT condition, and all of the people I spoke with were phenomenally friendly. My admissions guy even tried to introduce me to the president of the university (he wasn't in that day). It seems quite Houghton-esque, though its a bit bigger (as it has a significant graduate program) and has more sports.

I say go for it!

what is it with people I love moving to CA? Despite my very strong feelings that you should ALWAYS live within a 2 hour or so range from me I say apply. What's the worse thing that can happen? My sister likes CA and we both know how incredibly picky she is.
