I know how you feel, when Max was in California, he was driving for 16 hours a day at times... I made him call me every night to make sure he was still alive and hadn't ended up in a bloody heap on the side of the road.

Then, he was climbing one day and fell about 15-20 feet before the first clip. His friend called me from the emergency room, and she didn't tell me that all he'd done was crack the bone in his heel, the first thing she said was 'Max had an accident,' and I freaked out, literally almost threw up.

My parents just came back from Israel.... I am so glad they got out last week before all of this started.

Then again I guess I'm used to dealing with the fear of losing the people I love, what with my mom's situation and everything.

Good luck with getting through to Tuesday, and just remember he'll be home soon.

Come over here (to Avi's) tonight!

Tiberias was bombed. He had called me ten minutes prior, we were joking, he acted all Yossarianish and then said "seriously, the biggest problems here in Tiberias are the roaches, my sunburn, and my blistering feet." Then he called me saying he was allright, he had seen the missiles but he was fine...and then the bomb siren went off and he had to go.

What the fuck?

war in the north 5thraven July 28 2006, 06:22:32 UTC
by the way, that 'war in the north' thing, not true. i just realized it was a misstranslation on my part. it has the same root as war, whatever they're calling it, but i dont know the actual word. its liekly 'the escalation of violence in the north', or maybe just 'the warming of the north'

12 years of hebrew and i can't even recognize war.

Oy, Josh.
