i just got an e-mail from my section leader at UVa, and she was like, "welcome to the piccolo section!" so i'm assuming this means i need to learn piccolo...quick. ahhhhhh.

couldn't you just tell them, "hey, i don't play the piccolo. i play the flute"? i'm sure that would clear up the misunderstanding.

Yeah, they're not mistaken, they are telling her to march piccolo. I would mealt if the wanted me to play a different instrument. All over the floor.

what's the difference between a toothpick and a piccolo?

you can play a toothpick in tune.
