so, the first few days of college have had their ups and downs. everyone is so freaking preppy here--girls dressing in dresses and skirts and collared shirts for no reason...it's just kind of a turn-off for me. i want college to be comfortable, and so i'm wearing tank tops and soffes. if people have a problem with that, they can deal. and even

um YEAH I am in the EXACT same situation. Like, it's cool here and everyone I've met is really nice but I still don't actually have "friends", just acquaintances and people I've talked to once or twice. There is no one that I feel completely comfortable around yet, and I feel like I'm the only one that is in my dorm during free time because my entire hall goes out places. Band is like the only place where I feel really good right now, but even there I still I feel like I can't completely be myself yet.

mere mere! i miss you muchly! doan says you dont have labor day off which is lame. i do and tifani does so i was thinking that if i dont go home that weekend, she could come up and we'd go visit yall sat/sun. i dont know how this plan will go but i'm just throwing it out there. and i totally agree with you not wanting to hang out with OL people all the time. i'm kind of glad that no OL people that i really know go here because then i wouldnt be forced to actually meet new people. sounds weird but it's true. well, lots o hugs and luv. <3
