Yeah I don't think they need to say it either! Coz it's not who Robin is. And I don't really think it's the sort of phrase that they could throw around in their "relationship".
But seriously, thanks for all your feedback!
As I was posting to comms it was literally on pause 2 secs in... This morning I woke up and I was like, "Can't watch Greek till you finish fic lol"
Has it been on yet where you live? And I'm so glad that people are pretty good at uploading pretty quickly lol. AND that I have fast internet.
It's so amazing! You can cut the tension with a proverbial knife!
so true! Marshall and Lily can say it all they want, but that's how their relationship is, you know? But it'll be something they'll have to use sparingly with B/R...
First of all, I TOTALLY thought of Robin at that line in The Ugly Truth too! Haha. High five for turning it into a fic.
Although he liked to use the word “indebted”, because it meant she had to do certain things for him (even though she knew she would do it anyway). God, I just love this line. It's pitch-perfect and says so much about both of them!
That look of childish excitement had drained for Barney’s face, to be replaced with a decidedly more-- adult-- anticipation. Annnnnnnnnd love this line as well. Just because.
Anyway. Wow! I just loved this whole thing. Your interpretation of their relationship felt so real to me... neither of them were too anti-relationship but they weren't too coupley either. You strike a nice balance that I don't always feel I get in BrOTP fanfiction. High five!
haha - I'm so glad I'm not the only one who heard that and went "Barney and Robin"!
Wow! Thanks for reading and leaving such wonderful comments! I really love the line about being indebted too.
And I'm so, so happy to hear that the relationship felt "real"... I'm always worried about that, so I'm glad that the balance of couple-y and not came across believably!
Overall the "inside Robin's head" thing was totally amazing, but these two bits were the ones I ADORE:
most of the time they still went for hard (what up?)
WHAT UP? =))) ♥
“Dude, we’re kinda in the middle of something here!”
Dude! =))) I LOVE Robin.
and the ending! oh the ending was preciousssss ♥ I'm not a big fan of "I love you"s in this kind of relationships. I mean come on, Robin and Barney are not that kind of couple who say "I love you" in that longing, romantic voice or whatever! They do love each other, but words are not important! YAY FOR NOT GETTING OUT THE "YOU"! ♥
I love the challenge of writing from Robin's head - glad to know I got it believable.
What. Up?! :)
Yeah I can see Barney and Robin throwing out an "I Love You" each about twice a season and that's it. I just wanted to show that even though they DO love each other, Barney's not gonna make her say it. But at the same time, I wanted Robin to be willing to say it. I don't know. That's my scrambled thought process lol.

Anyway, you know I love the rest, too. :D
Were you really watching Greek when you posted this? You got it before it even aired in my timezone!
