Interesting fic, though I don't understand the "45-mile-per-hour-Ambulatory speed" thing. The ambulance was only going 45? That's absurd with a medical emergancy in the US. Also the EMTs did nothing to restart her breathing?

The concept is interesting, but the way you carried it out lost me because it wasn't like they were waiting for the ambulance, but actually in one and the EMTs were just sitting back on their heels letting her die. EMTs work their asses off to try and save the people that come into their buses. :-/
