[Background] Dem wiki's

[Personality]

Rosa is, habitually rude and generally awful to people in general, even to a father figure like Antonio. True she was in pain when she called his mother a whore and told him to catch the Plague. But, even after the fact, she's cocky and abrasive, something that no longer offends or shocks people who know her.  But that just goes to show how normal it is for Rosa to use language that would make a monk weep.

She has no problem using physical violence against others, though most of the time it is meant jokingly. She is very tomboyish in nature, and very rough around the edges. She has an extremely short temper and will verbally attack anyone, even for a very small thing such as someone mishearing what she says. But once you get to know her she’s actually rather...sweet? She shows her affection in more punching and more name-calling.

Another aspect of Rosa's personality, that is often overlooked because it's so glaringly obvious, is simply that: Rosa is a thief.
To her, that says everything that needs to be said about her. She doesn't care about the "significance" of anything except when it involves the price. She doesn't care who asks for her to steal, or what, except when someone else is willing to pay more. And behind the shouting and cursing and punching; she is intelligent and resourceful, much more street-smart than book-smart.

She had a small education at the hand of Antonio, but most of what she knows about stealing came from experience-- mostly injuries and failures. She worries about herself first and foremost... because she's always been surrounded by people who do the same. She doesn't see a point in looking out for people who can't look out for themselves-- and don't look out for her. She expects little of most people and, therefore, is rarely disappointed in anyone. Irritated that they don't live up to her personal standards, yes, but not emotionally invested. In and out of times of crisis, Rosa is always ready to take command and bark orders rather than waiting for someone else to do it.

She has a conscience, but it's generally put aside when money or her skin is on the line.

[Abilities]

As a member of the Theives Guild of Venice, Rosa is an excellent pickpocket. She manages to swipe Ezio’s purse by bumping into him and the guy didn’t even notice until later. Also, it is remarked that Rosa is the best free-runner in the Venice guild. She is able to scale the sides of buildings quicker and with less noise than her fellow thief, and demonstrates this ability in her first bit of screen time, and while it appears other thieves can do this as well, Rosa is the best. As far as combat goes, Rosa now (as of the announced release date of the new game) falls under the in-game category of an ‘Agile’. These NPC’s are traditionally enemies instead of allies but, Rosa is one of the few exceptions. As an Agile she is very swift on her feet - faster than Ezio - and has excellent reflexes in combat. But is not very strong.

[Other important stuff]

Rosa looks like a boy at first glance.

She will not throw a bitch fit if you think she is a man, hell, she might even go along with it.

But...if you're totally retarded and think she's a guy for more than a minute. She will clock you.

[Sample post]
[First Person]

- If someone provoked or attacked you, what would you do?

If it were someone larger than me or something like that I'd run. Lead them on a chase that ends in an alley. And perhaps let them meet a few friends of mine.
But if I knew I could beat them? I would.

- Someone is trying to rob you! What do you do?

It depends on the value of whatever they're stealing. If it's something precious to me I'll cut their balls off outright. But...if it were something I didn't care for? [She hums for a moment, pondering on what would be the best way to deal with it.]
I'd probably follow them home, wait until they felt safe then come to them and beat them so badly doctors across the city would throw their hands up in despair.

- You are on the verge of death. You know there is no way to survive and there's no coming back. Choose any of the following to answer: What is your last wish? Your last regret? Last thoughts? How do you feel? Who is the last person you think of other than your killer? (can answer more than one of these question, but it will at most count as 2 questions)

The last person I think of....would be Antonio. He's like a father to me.
...How do I feel? I'm dying aren't I? I imagine I'd feel pretty fucking awful.

- You are a given a mission. Would you complete it effectively or would you goof off and do something else? Expand a little on the response.

I would do the job. Goofing off in this kind of a life can get you killed. Or worse, stuck in prison. When you're stealing something goofing off just leads to shit. And if you think it's a good idea then you deserve what you get.

- You just got a challenge to fight from one of the strongest gang leaders around. Do you accept or reject? Why?

I'm not a dumb ass, dispite what you think. Even I know when to throw in the towel. That kind of stuff I leave to Antonio or Ezio.
So my answer would be 'I reject' then.

- There is a cake in the rain. What do you do?

Take it before someone else does. Maybe give it to Ugo. The pig. [She snickers at the image.] He could eat the entire guild out of house and home and still have room left for seconds.

- Would you consider yourself a well traveled person? If so, what are some of your favorite places? If not, would you want to travel or is there some place you want to go?

No I'm not. I have no reason to travel anyway. Venieza is my home, and besides, the city is still full of fat bastards who could be liberated of some coin. But...if I had to say. I would most like to see Spain. Antonio calls it a paradise and I want to know if it will live up to my expectations.

- You're dirt poor and your family is starving. You have a chance to steal bread. Do you: a) ignore it and get a job, b) steal it anyway because you know you won't get caught, c) get caught but break out of prison anyway, d) steal it and then hide from the creepy cop that keeps stalking you, e) don't steal because stealing is wrong :(. Explain why you chose that option.

I choose B. Because I know I'm quick enough to sneak a loaf of bread past without getting caught. [Her lips turn up sharply at that.] If I could do when I was practically a baby I can do it now.

[Third Person]

She rocked forward and back, getting her balance with a swift, sure movement of her feet, and considered her surroundings. A cityscape at noon, the arches and sharp angles of buildings making odd curls of shade under the hot sun, every so often a a sweep of wind strong enough to whip her vest away from her middle and send her short hair twisting around her face would kick up, cooling her.

"Oh, fun," she sighed, her teeth flashing.

"Glad you think so," Ugo said, passing her in a blur of ill fitting clothing. "If I were you, I'd be running, kid."

"Less fun." A gunshot cracked, the bullet slamming into the stone beside her foot, and Rosa took off.

Ugo made a strained sound low in his throat, and turned his head sharply to see if Rosa had been  hit.

Rosa cried out to him, voice rough. "Move it assino!”

“They’re comin’,” he breathed in warning, hands clenched in fists as Rosa moved swiftly and steadily after him.

Rosa took off running, every muscle coming to singing, soaring life at once.  Bullets, and more frequently - arrows, whizzed past her, so close sometimes that she felt the snap of the air cutting against her skin, her clothes pushed against her flesh by the force of the strikes.

For a brief moment, between when one foot kicked off from edge of a building's high ledge, she soared with the sort of speed and grace that only birds controlled, airborne with the same surety of one born to wings. She slid through the air to the next roof, scrambling against the tiles once she hit them. All traces of grace and ease gone and replaced with urgency.

She was laughing as she took off once more, a sound fueled by adrenaline only.

"Okay, enough is enough," Ugo grumbled, dodging another close call with an arrow. "No more running for these rabbits." He reached for a bag drawn against his side, grinning.

Rosa bounced over a low wall not but ten seconds after Ugo had, her body twisting, and had no chance to stop as a behemoth came from around the corner of a tower, one massive fist coming out to meet Rosa's forward motion.

Almost too quick for the eye to see, Rosa's legs went out from under her, propelling her under that colossal fist, the movement just barely clearing the behemoth who now stumbled, unable to slow his own forward momentum.

Rosa rolled and scraped against the tiles toward the edge, the impact a lot harder than she would like. The impact shuddered through her body, but she sprung back up, sharp and fast, already turning to meet another attack. The huge man was still stumbling, getting his bulk under control, but others were advancing now, from the chase, all around her. Rosa quickly understood that she wasn't getting out of this without a little blood being shed. Swinging her stiletto in one hand, she grinned. "Okay, you stronzos wanna dance?"

The sound of a armor plated boot scuffing on the stone was her only warning, and she turned to meet the rush, blocking a sword's edge with the knife, and forcing her own foot through the man's guard and into his side, sending him sprawling with the weight of his own self and the angle of the roof. Another, right on the first's tail, lunged, and was taken out with a swift, sure stab to his shoulder and a blow to the helmet where his ear should've been. Another jumped in just as she drew her knife from the man's flesh, and swung at her legs with his sword - aiming to cut one of her ankles off.  Rosa shuffled backward as the crowd flowed in like water.

Ugo was doing only slightly better. Rosa had gotten the lions share of opponents thanks to her position in the duo. Ugo had finished off a skinny guard seconds ago and saw Rosa's situation, trying to remain silent, but it was much easier to be in the thick of things with Rosa than to watch her, outnumbered and insouciant nonetheless, fighting solo.

The click of a gun cocking sent him on high alert and running to the one aiming his rifle, knocking the weapon up in the man's hands as the shot fired and  shattered the stone chimney close to where Rosa's head had been not two seconds ago.

The man slammed into the ground as Ugo smacked the butt of the gun against his helmet-less head, the weapon went skittering over the edge of the building.

"Rosa-"

Before anyone could react, Ugo's hands went to his pockets, and with a twist of his arm, he launched a stink bomb in all directions.

For an instant, everything paused, the fog of stink welling up around the the scene like a cloud, the gas trailed before Ugo as he launched one after another with almost gleeful intent. The wind however, was quickly dissolving the trick.

"Che cazzo fai, what a sight,” Rosa crowed, savoring the show. “That’s what I’m talkin’ about!”

Behind her, Ugo cursed with equal fervor and no delight whatsoever, then dragged her out of the dissipating gas, away from the guards and solider and nearly four different routes throughout the city before they arrived at the thieves stronghold. “Rosa's tryin’ to kill me,” he reported grimly. “Again. So I expect no more jobs for the rest of the day! Because Rosa don’t know the meanin’ of the damned word ‘run’!”

Rosa stood beside him, smiling sweetly as she knew how before presenting Antonio with her prize. And a wicked little: "I think I made him mad." as Ugo retreated to his quarters.

[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Mostly because you guys have an Ezio…who is played straight. But, after reading the premise and everything else I really want to join because of the concept….and straight!ezio. Not gonna lie. It’s a horrible reason.

[Which rule was your favorite and why?]
The limited 4th wallin'. I've roleplayed with a lot of 4th wall breakers (like Deadpool, first example I could think of) and had my entire character history and future told to my muse, and reacting ic was like a recipe for some trauma.  So this policy is kindasorta awesome.

[Where did you hear about Somarium?]
From this really weird creeper punchesbards . idk.

[Any questions?]
Nooope.
