Sounds like the agents are bloody useless, I agree.
Not sure how it would work though. When I have left somewhere early, the agents have to contact the landlord to see if that is ok. Then it was up to the landlord to refund me, or charge me for the rest of the tenancy.
Speak to your landlord. See what he says about things.
I did he called me, to ask me what he needs to do lol He is from Sri Lanka, his English is ok but he isnt perfect. I think he thinks he will get into trouble with Haart for cancelling them and going private with me. Ive read my contract and it doesnt say I cant contact the landlord to go private. I think I will tell him to just be straight with them, and that we have agreed to stay on here for 2-3 years and that he trusts us, and doesnt need them anymore. I would tell them they are useless but I wont ask him to do that :-)
Oh and must be the year for baby boys, my boss is having a boy (she looks ready to drop any minute lol, but doesnt start maternity for another 2 weeks), 2 peeps from work have just had boys. The woman in sainsburys was telling me daughter had a boy (weird that as I didnt know her but she was convinced she knew me and i just pretended and agreed lol)
