boys make no sense to girls, and girls make no sense to boys. but i guess you have to look on the positive side: if we made complete sense to each other, where would the mystery be? we wouldn't have those stupid little love games, that, while they bother us, we secretly enjoy being caught up in (at least, i enjoy them).

granted there are circumstances where we wish things would just resolve themselves, but you have to remember that people deal with things in their own way. sometimes it is enough to know for yourself, even if the other person won't admit how they feel or what they're thinking. and maybe, just maybe, it is better things aren't out in the open. perhaps it will help you cope just as much as it is helping them. perhaps part of the healing process includes a few white lies.
