You like Harry Potter? I never really cared for that series all that much. J.K. Rowling (In my opinion), did no more than borrow ideas and characters from both J.R.R. Tolkien and Roald Dahl.
yep...I like Harry Potter...I will agree it's not the most original work..but the pacing, humor and all around good time..make these amazingly fun reads..
I also enjoy...kerouac, steinbeck, chandler, carver, buck,fitzgerald, baldwin, faulkner, nabokov, woolf and garcia- marquez....that's a quci list..off the top of my head...I'm sure I've forgotten hundreds..that's not even anything modern...what do you like?
I'm awake at 3:45 in the morning because I'm cool.
Anyway, I'm really into books like Lord of the Flies, 1984, Cat's Cradle, Catch 22, and To Kill A Mockingbird. Those would be my most favorite books that I've read thus far.
