Hey I still don't have your email apparently. Anyway, I need a favor from your lady friend. I know you guys are leaving for a camping trip tomorrow but is there anyway you could have her call her work and put in a good word for me? I really really need a job ASAP and she said they needed people bad. You don't know how much it would help me out.

she can put words in for you, no prob. but if she does she might kinda need you on the sharp for a few weeks/months (no coming in late, no being high on anything and being a good worker) not because she's afraid of you being a bad worker, but because jobs that accept referrals really give people the eye. especially this one. the last girl that got referred by kathy was late (once, AND liz is a good worker besides that) and they gave kathy the stink eye like you wouldn't believe. they are really touchy about referrals.
