Okay, after careful consideration. I have decided on a minor. I looked at all the classes I needed for different minors, took into consideration what I like, how much time I have, Study abroad, and other meaningful factors, and decided that the way to go would be anthropology. I have three of the six classes taken already (it would be four but I ( Read more... )

Oh congrats on choosing a minor! And anthropology suits you, I think. When I took it last year, part of me wanted to do it just because I discovered how much I loved to travel and lose myself in places. It just seems so interesting. But I'm happy where I am, so it's all good. However, if you ever do go on any anthropological missions, I demand a postcard! :P ;)

And that's cool about orchestra too! I wish UC had one. I miss my viola... Other than that, college is going well. I enjoy it muchly. Busy busy, of course, but I'm strangely happy that way. I look forward to seeing you sometime soon!

thankx. Yeah, I like anthropology. It is interesting. I don't know if I will ever really do anthing with it, but I'm half way through the minor allready soo... lol. I really wanted to do a second language, but with study abroad it would just be imposible. ah well.

Orchestra is lots of fun. I can't believe UC doesn't have an orchestra! I thought they were a liberal arts schoool? no?

glad school is going well.

We are a liberal arts school, and in all fainess we do have a band. But no orchestra! It baffles me! Perhaps I should recruit Mr. Cleavland to work as an ajunct(sp?) at UC after he retires from the high school. :P Because seriously, I'd love to work with a viola again and having an actual environment to do it in, for me personally, would feel better than just doing it on my own. That wont stop me from buying my own viola one day, but I love the orchestra setting, you know?

Yeah, a second language would probably stress you out a lot, especially having to go to Japan and then come back to finish it up. Whatever you do, have fun with your minor. :)

Yeah, if you really want to do orchetra you should bug people about it. I'm sure you would have plenty of people there who would like to play just for fun.

It's not a second language would stress me out. It would be flat out impossible to do taking a year, or even a semester off from it. Atleast really really hard to get back into it. I know, after a semester off from russian, I don't recal much. (not that i learned much anyway LoL) With language you need to be using it constantly.
