I NEED YOUR OPINION!!!

I have cut and dyed my hair, i know, ahhhh scary and even scaryer ive dyed it!!!! My hair is still kinda long, but theirs shoulder, and the color is supposed to be a medium brown, but i think its kinda dark. so the question is, do i add hi lights or keep it just brown???
