I give up.

I can't handle catching up in classes. I was doing fine until my allergic reaction, strep throat, and pink eye. Now I'm just doomed. I don't want to pull of graduation so I am working to get an Incomplete in 2 of my classes and make up the work throughout Christmas Break ( Read more... )

Keep your health first! School isn't nearly as important as your health. One day, maybe over Christmas break when *hopefully* things will be slower for you, we need to catch up! Will you be in Niceville any over the break?

that was a fast reply. :)

I'll probably be in Niceville a little bit early in the break to get a dress for my mom's wedding. As for Christmas, I'll be in Texas.

January 6th is my mom's wedding so I'll be in town for that.

What about you?

I'll be in town for parts of the break- I'll be in town for a night on the 10th- and then I'll probably be in town again at the beginning of January. I'll probably be in Niceville around the 6th if you want to grab lunch or something while you're in town! I know weddings are hectic though, so I completely understand if you'll be busy then. We need to catch up sometime soon though! :-) It's been too long!

Or crackers and soda.

But phil413's right. Your health is paramount. Getting a degree posthumously isn't so great. Or getting a degree at the expense of being able to walk. You'll probably want to actually walk when it's time to walk, so don't rush things by overburdening yourself. A big part of the recovery process is peace of mind, too. Put on some soothing music or a favorite movie and unwind.

Oh! I just remembered I was going to say something about soda previously. Stay away from colas and other dark sodas for a while. They usually contain phosphoric acid, which leaches calcium from your system. Nutrionists advise menopausal women to stay away from it, for risk of osteoporosis. But since you're trying to boost the ossification of your leg, you want all the calcium you can muster :)
