hey folks! well, I am off in five hours on a semi-improptu jaunt to monhegan, which is a small island off the coast of maine, for a whole week (!) (thomas quit his job for a week; he's taking me). There may or may not be internet access there (prob. not), but I will have my cell phone, so call if you get bored or lonely --- I will be very damp
