Heh. I got no disrespect for Huckabee. He was a bit too evangelical for my tastes...but then, I went and voted for the Mormon.

Yeah I agree as far as Romney's immigration is concerned. But as they told Stan, its ALWAYS between a douche and a turd. Maybe it wasn't in '84, but that was the last time it wasn't, and I was 2 so I don't have any recollection of it.

You're right. There was a different option in 1984. Anyone who makes Michael King day into a national holiday and sends a US representative to the Vatican is a douche sandwich.

No I was pro-Reagan on that one. And with John Paul's influencial role in the fall of the Soviet Union, it was a pretty sound move to send an ambassador to the Vatican. Would have been anyway regardless of the Cold War.
