Betta Blues
So I got this Betta fish on August 30th and brought it to work with me to share with my co-workers. It was a complete hit and we named him Sushi!
One problem though....he's sick now. I noticed today that he has these white spots near his gills and his belly is a little bulged. This is him healthy about two weeks ago:
I know that the bulged belly is probably because I'm overfeeding him so I'm going to fast him for a day or so and then only feed him 3 or 4 pellets twice a day. But I think the white spots are a fungus infection due to his water being too cold for him. They are suppose to have a water temperature between 70 to 80 degrees. I don't know how I'm going to keep his water warm like that when he's in a suspending bowl and we work in a building that's always cold to me. :(
Anyway, I'm going to the pet store today to see what I can do. Wish me luck!
