While I do not have the opportunity to review the points of the proposition at length, I noted a few minor discrepancies in my read-through that can improve upon the written argument if corrected, especially if these proposals will be circulated or submitted [I was an editor for a time, after all]:
'Irregardless' - A word that is generally considered incorrect in its usage due to the illogical word it forms, as the prefix ir- means 'not' and the suffix -less means 'without,' which creates 'irregardless' as a double negative.
'30 years of age' - Was not the original age '30 months', as in 'bone-and-beef 30 months or younger'?
Aside from the above, impeccably done. I hope we'll have the chance to discuss this matter in the future.
Best of luck,
Bill

I think I formatted it in an Amnesty's Issue Brief format because it was most effective from my cursory research. This issue doesn't really classify under Amnesty's categories so my writing is probably inappropriate.
Does my writing sound partisan? The problem is, as you can see on the previous post, I don't align myself with either side, all I want to do is help reconcile people's views.
Irregardless: Not regard without? Not without regard? However, that's like saying that "without" is possessive because the word is composed of "with" and "out." So then would you say "Will you go without me?" to mean "Will you go out with me?" and the former statement should be literal because it's what I should have said to a guy I didn't feel like making out with.
You're correct! That's a huge mistake on my part. However, don't some restaurants serve aged beef? Not that this has anything to do with the FTA.

The question of what and how a nation can control the quality and types of food coming in is quite complex... If you have not already, you may want to take a look at the attempted tuna (shrimp too, I believe) import bans by the US, as well as the GMO grain bans in the EU, as well as the retaliatory measures taken.
