Things I learnt while shopping today:
1. Buying a winter coat which doesn't make me look like a leprechaun is near impossible.
2. No matter how much I try to convince myself that clothes are more important than CDs and that I NEEDED new black shoes for work, I still can't justify blowing more than $100 on clothes in one go.

My mom used to get pissed because I'd insist on back to school clothes shopping in the thrift and junk stores. Apparently I was SUPPOSED to spend an arm and a leg on everything.
