Rights

Some people, these days, seem to think that they have "the right" to tell other people what they don't have "the right" to do, or say. Yes, I know this will strike a chord with a few people, but you are not the only ones in this world, and many others do the same thing. Wow...that's a great entry...I really like it. As for your statements, I do feel that they do refer to me and possibly Aaron as well. But I'll just talk about me when it comes to this response :-P I do feel that people have a right to their opinion, I don't, however, believe that people have a right to go to someone and completely bash them just because they can. When it comes to things like the President or Martha Stewart, for example, I could care less what people say because I've trashed famous people, too. When it comes to more personal matters, (i.e. what has gone on in my livejournal), however, I feel that one should use caution in what they say and that maybe before they say some of the things they say, they should consider what exactly they are saying to that person and why. I respect your opinion, but you don't have the power to decide who has "the right" to do anything. As for the Christianity thing, I never said you treated me differently for my beliefs. But, I have had supposed "Christians" give me dirty looks, and try to explain to me why I should believe what they believe. They can't, and shouldn't try to, change the way I view things. That is the reason I disagree, so heavily, with missionary work.

I wasn't meaning you meant me about the Christian thing. I know exactly how that goes with "Christians" giving people dirty looks because they don't believe in our God. I don't care what you believe, honestly...I mean, as far as I'm concerned, people can believe what they want and if people judge them for that, they're stupid :-P
