One of the parents picking up his kids mentioned he felt it, but he works in the upper level of a hospital, so that may having something to do with it. I sure didn't feel it.

Curse him! I want to experience the drama of being in an earthquake without being in a truly dangerous one!

I'm glad you weren't hurt. I've never felt an earthquake even though I've been told we've had them.

I want to move to California. Someday I plan to.;) I'm working on it.

I'm still pleasantly surprised no one was hurt. After hearing about the Haitian and Chilean earthquakes at the beginning of the year, you get used to the idea of them being very, very bad.

According to the news, the area is likely to get an earthquake of that size every fifteen to twenty years. But they are still small compared to other parts of Canada.

I'd have to brush up on my french if I went east. I guess spanish is more popular in California, eh?

I never even realized that Canada got earthquakes. I always think of them as being in California mostly.

Yep, spanish is more popular in California. I've studied some of it but I'd sure need to brush up and study more if I needed to speak it there.XD

The west coast of Canada is sort of like California. It's where we normally get our earthquakes. Lots of people worry about a big one hitting Vancouver at some point.

I don't think you need to speak Spanish in California, do you? There's... just a lot of Spanish speaking people. In Montreal I don't think I have to learn French, but it is the official language. In Quebec they do a lot to try and preserve their language so they discourage speaking English.

Late reply is late. I hardly ever check my own journal.

Thank you. I am still accepting credit card numbers in case you were wondering.
