In no particular order:

*Wes and I, along with our friend Kath, are driving in the 2007 BABE Rally this coming spring. Basically, we navigate a $250 car from New York to New Orleans over four days (BABE=Big Apple to Big Easy). We're going to be putting together TONS of coverage for The Car Lounge. I am insanely excited

Congrats on getting credentials to NAIAS! I haven't even gotten mine yet, and I'm there with XM, who's exhibiting.

For the show, you'll want to wear business attire--plenty of people you want to work for will be there, and they'll expect you to be professional. Also, if you can, you should plan on attending the Auto Press Association cocktail hour with your business cards in hand. It's expensive ($70, maybe?) but well worth it for the connections you will make.

Thanks for the heads-up. I've got the Banana Republic suit I bought for my Brandware interview, and have been eyeing a kicky little gray skirt and jacket in the window of Brooks Brothers. Maybe I'll get enough Christmas money to cover it.

Bryan hasn't said anything about getting me VMG business cards, though...

Any more information about the APA cocktail hour?

It's Monday, December 8th at 5:30, and you'll need a member to get you in. Unfortunately, I'm not a member, and even if I were, I'd have to take someone from XM since ultimately, they're my client. The other option is you could always join yourself, but I'm not sure of the cost of membership.

A '77 diesel Rabbit
A '92 Acclaim
A '93 Taurus SHO
An '83 Audi 5000

But... that list changes almost daily. My two teammates (my fiance and a friend from VWvortex) both own Cabriolets so I don't think they'd be excited about picking up another one.
