I'm just posting to let everyone know that I'm still alive and that I'm sorry I suck. I'm just feeling out of sync with fandom lately (which is why my lj has been even more silent than usual), and I've been on an icon-making binge, so don't be surprised if I dump a load of Jonathan Rhys Meyers crap on you

Five THOUSAND dollars? Thousand? Like 000?

...eBay did rather well out of me that night. My only defence is that the shops were closed, so I had nowhere else to spend money.
But if you did suck, your opinion would be irrelevant, and so you'd have to listen to me when I tell you that you don't suck. Work that one out. (I can't). *hug*

You're too nice, you know that? *tackles*

*huggles ze silly* Here, you can be my Silly Friend. What happened, mate? The accident part probably shook you up a bit -- I do hope nothing bad happened? That is, no injuries on either sides?
I'll mumble on the clothes aspect [books, woman, spend various amounts of money on books!], but I think you were probably looking for a way to cool down.
As for fandom -- well, I'm not that keen on it either, so who am I to poke a finger?
Still loving/hating you madly,
Ze Silly Friend's Sillier Still Friend.

Teh Silly Friend? *ponders* Hmm, alright, I like, and you can be Teh, um, Scary Friend. XD Oh, god, I could spend a billion dollars on books, I really could, I've always had this geeky little fantasy of buying out Barnes and Nobles' stock. See, even my fantasies are dorky! And the splurging - yeah, I was really shaken up and one thing I can do, if nothing else, is spend money. :D
*huggles* Love you more, Teh Scary Friend!

Sorry about the car accident! I'm glad you're ok. As for the clothes shopping and eating chocolate, well, we're gals, what are we suppose to do?!? Anyways, I hope it was enjoyable! No feeling guilty! XD

*huggles* That makes the two of us! Just the other day my friend had said it was about time I had an accident, and then whaddaya know. My poor car, though, it's ruined, it hurts just to look at it. *weeps* My poor baby.
And *sniggers* I hope that's what my parents say when they get the credit card statement!

You do realise that now you will have to tell me exactly what you bought, don't you?
I love clothes and shoes.
My mummy bought me the best pair of shoes ever today. I can't get over how gorgeous they are. *swoons repeatedly*
And I got 5 pretty basic, but very pretty tops because spring/summer are coming. I love that feeling you get when a new season approaches. It's like it's in the air.
Anyway, as you can see, what I got today can in no way compare to what you got. And since I like to live vicariously through people... Details plz. :))

Hee! What do they look like? And, personally, I cannot wait for the fall fashions, I'm done with summer - I want tweed and cashmere and blacks and greys and boots and coats. Spring fashions are fun and flirty but the fall season is always just full of elegance, and makes chapped lips and dry skin worthwhile. XD
Well, I really didn't get too much (not very much, at all, actually) but the stuff I did get is so well-made that I just melted in the stores. I got a pair of just gorgeous vintage Roger Vivier shoes - they're about 100mm high, though, so I'm probably going to break my back one day running to my classes in them. I only got one blouse (this beautiful silk Paddock-print from Hermès) but SQUEE I'm wearing it for the rest of my life, and NEVER TAKING IT OFF ( ... )

I know, I'm such a wasteful person. *ashamed* The only good thing about it is that my parents are still paying for my credit card (since I'm just another poor student) so, ah, I hope they understand that I was under stress at the time. XD And *snickers* thank you, I like it too.

Awesome! You have amazing parents.

Ugh, well, I don't have time for a full-time job and since they'd rather I not starve to death, they're paying for my card. It's really nice, actually, and I'm getting scared thinking of the time when I'll have to pay for my own stuff. Heaven forbid. XD
