Urgh

I'm just posting to let everyone know that I'm still alive and that I'm sorry I suck. I'm just feeling out of sync with fandom lately (which is why my lj has been even more silent than usual), and I've been on an icon-making binge, so don't be surprised if I dump a load of Jonathan Rhys Meyers crap on you ( Read more... )

You don't suck, silly! I hope the car accident was not too serious and you weren't shaken or hurt.

Five THOUSAND dollars? Thousand? Like 000?

Yes, I do, I ought to be charged with neglect of my lj. I mean, my flist's ljs. No one was hurt in the accident but *snickers* I felt so sorry for myself that I went shopping and condemned myself to hell for my wastery (is that a real word?) Another reason why I suck.

My dad split up with his girlfriend recently and got back with the harridan he was with before...

...eBay did rather well out of me that night. My only defence is that the shops were closed, so I had nowhere else to spend money.

But if you did suck, your opinion would be irrelevant, and so you'd have to listen to me when I tell you that you don't suck. Work that one out. (I can't). *hug*

Hah, well, you can't be blamed for that one, parents can have amazingly bad taste at times. And ebay is horribly addictive. It ought to be banned from people like me.

You're too nice, you know that? *tackles*

HOW DARE YOU? I'll have you know I don't think I'll accept your apologies. You just said one of my friends sucked. Really, that's completely vile and intolerable, and I disapprove immensely.

*huggles ze silly* Here, you can be my Silly Friend. What happened, mate? The accident part probably shook you up a bit -- I do hope nothing bad happened? That is, no injuries on either sides?

I'll mumble on the clothes aspect [books, woman, spend various amounts of money on books!], but I think you were probably looking for a way to cool down.

As for fandom -- well, I'm not that keen on it either, so who am I to poke a finger?

Still loving/hating you madly,

Ze Silly Friend's Sillier Still Friend.

I'm sorry! I shall never use that word again! Just don't hurt me! *cowers*

Teh Silly Friend? *ponders* Hmm, alright, I like, and you can be Teh, um, Scary Friend. XD Oh, god, I could spend a billion dollars on books, I really could, I've always had this geeky little fantasy of buying out Barnes and Nobles' stock. See, even my fantasies are dorky! And the splurging - yeah, I was really shaken up and one thing I can do, if nothing else, is spend money. :D

*huggles* Love you more, Teh Scary Friend!

You are far from sucking, my Teh Awesome LJ Friend. *g* I think I may be drifting from Harry Potter fandom in the mean time, myself. Only to give other obsessions my full attention.

Sorry about the car accident! I'm glad you're ok. As for the clothes shopping and eating chocolate, well, we're gals, what are we suppose to do?!? Anyways, I hope it was enjoyable! No feeling guilty! XD

*coughBellavotioncough* Ha, I've noticed - Dallas? Bitch, please, get an obession from the twenty-first century. XD Though, there are worse things than Ballas - genocide, famine, war...this is sounding strangely familiar...

*huggles* That makes the two of us! Just the other day my friend had said it was about time I had an accident, and then whaddaya know. My poor car, though, it's ruined, it hurts just to look at it. *weeps* My poor baby.

And *sniggers* I hope that's what my parents say when they get the credit card statement!

You do realise that now you will have to tell me exactly what you bought, don't you?

I love clothes and shoes.

My mummy bought me the best pair of shoes ever today. I can't get over how gorgeous they are. *swoons repeatedly*

And I got 5 pretty basic, but very pretty tops because spring/summer are coming. I love that feeling you get when a new season approaches. It's like it's in the air.

Anyway, as you can see, what I got today can in no way compare to what you got. And since I like to live vicariously through people... Details plz. :))

Oh, GOD, I know, I hope heaven is a huge closet just full of shoes and clothes and handbags. And chocolate. And maybe a few clones of Jonny.

Hee! What do they look like? And, personally, I cannot wait for the fall fashions, I'm done with summer - I want tweed and cashmere and blacks and greys and boots and coats. Spring fashions are fun and flirty but the fall season is always just full of elegance, and makes chapped lips and dry skin worthwhile. XD

Well, I really didn't get too much (not very much, at all, actually) but the stuff I did get is so well-made that I just melted in the stores. I got a pair of just gorgeous vintage Roger Vivier shoes - they're about 100mm high, though, so I'm probably going to break my back one day running to my classes in them. I only got one blouse (this beautiful silk Paddock-print from Hermès) but SQUEE I'm wearing it for the rest of my life, and NEVER TAKING IT OFF ( ... )

*twitches* Well, it depends on your definition of survive. It works, but *cries* the back is all smashed up, and I think I'd rather get a new one than spend the time and the money trying to get it fixed.

I know, I'm such a wasteful person. *ashamed* The only good thing about it is that my parents are still paying for my credit card (since I'm just another poor student) so, ah, I hope they understand that I was under stress at the time. XD And *snickers* thank you, I like it too.

No, but I should have! Something that'd make people stare, like, um, Bob.

Ugh, well, I don't have time for a full-time job and since they'd rather I not starve to death, they're paying for my card. It's really nice, actually, and I'm getting scared thinking of the time when I'll have to pay for my own stuff. Heaven forbid. XD
