My ipod has a setting for audio books that will play them faster than normal speed.

What the hell is a footy tipping competition?

Oooooh - I'll have to look into the ipod settings. Does it distort the voices - not that I mind? I'm guessing (and hoping) whether or not I have the functionality is dependent on what ipod software I have and not what ipod I have. Mine is hella old (pre-colour).

Footy tipping is where everyone in your office (or whoever is in your tipping competition pool) picks which aussie rules football teams are going to win on the weekend and then you count the number correct you get each week. Each week, we add up our scores and someone wins at the end of the season (which goes for 20 something weeks). We're half-way through the season and me, the American is winning (which is totally funny). Footy tipping is such an institution in Corporate Australia that your entry fee into the competition is automaticaly deducted by payroll at a lot of companies (including McKinsey). No entry fee at fosters. And of course we win lunch and beer. Remember gambling is legal here (and somewhat encouraged?).

Butterfingers are grand indeed. I was delighted to find butterfinger hot chocolate at kroger. I didn't know such a thing even existed!

You can get Butterfingers from and old style lolly shop in Yarraville. T (my other half) loves those things. Personally I think they are revolting, but then again, I am a HUGE fan of the ol' Vegemite!
