Well we got there on friday night and got our cots, btus, boots, and bedding, then set them up and basically went to sleep. They woke us up at 6:15am for PT which was like 7 stations of different exorcises for 2 minutes each running between each in groups. We were split into 4 platoons with 4 squads each which was about 48 each platoon. Then we did Red Phase, which was a class where we learned about rank and all the basics of the Army National Guard. Then before we went into formation, we did more PT then got smoked for some reason, haha. Went to bed, then got woken up at 5:15am Sunday. For PT we did exorcises for us to do at home. Then we did muscle failure where we basically just kept going untill we couldnt, then changed exorcises, then kept going, haha. We then formed up and the AIT grads got their patches and barrets, i think thats how you spell it, uh those hats that you put the pin on of your rank. We got out of there around 10am Sunday. My next weekend is Feb 16-18 and now that im exorcising more at home and drinking ( ... )

Yea, we have regular drill weekends once a month for people to go to before and after theyve been to basic.

I did learn the ranks of enlisted and officers, for the army at least and thats all i need to know, haha.

That does sound crazy! so youve been through basic training then. Thats what im doing this summer, Basic Training and AIT all in one so i can fit it in before the next college semester starts.

funfun! hope all is going well
